Here in Ireland, Irish is our mother tongue although it is not spoken very much througout Ireland. Most people here speak English. It was compulsory to learn Irish at school so I speak fluent Irish and English. I can also speak French although I cannot write it very well. I am hoping to brush up on my spoken french before I visit France next year.

Hi Chaitra,I am from Kerala and my mother tongue is Malayalam. I can speak Hindi and English also. I am working the capital city so by that way I learnt to speak Hindi. I know only three languages. But people in mylot are proficient with many languages. Once I started a discussion asking about the proficiency in languages that is why I know many are proficient people here. I am glad to know that you are from Bangalore. Thanks and good luck to you.

I also understand Norweigan and Danish most of the time.

I am from Romania, and my native tongue is Romanian. It's a Latin-based language, related to French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
I speak and write good English and fairly well French. I understand some Spanish and Italian, and after a while in an environment speaking those languages I end up speaking good.
I can also read and write Russian, but I don't know too much words.
