Doesn't it irritate you when......

Sometimes it does. I don't necessarily reply to every response to my discussions, but I do go back and try to respond to most of them. Sometimes though there is not really much to say in response to some of the responses that you get.

YES it definately does! It's no discussion if they don't get back to you That's also the reason why I don't start many. If I know I don't have time I respond on others and keep quiet about starting new ones

Its only good manners to go back & reply to one...Some people do not know what manners are and some just do not have any....

Hi Dfollin, It does irritate me a little when I reply to a discussion and the starter does not comment back. I thought that is the whole part of this being a discussion forum. If the starter does not reply then it turns into a one sided discussion. I guess it is to each their own, but you would make more money here if you did answer the replies you get. I try to reply to all of mine and thank them for their response. If I find that I am too busy, I will not even start a new discussion until I know I will have the time to answer the replies I may get.

Hi there! When starters of discussions don't comment back it doesn't irritate me at all. Everyone has their own way of working here in mylot. Others has the habit of commenting back on responses and some well, I think of it as lacking some time commenting. I myself sometimes lacks time commenting back on responses. I try my best but sometimes time constraints prevents me. Ciao!

I would like my responses to be commented. A discussion without counter comments looks boring. I also assume that if someone does not bother to respond, he/she is probably not even bothering to rate the responses or select the best response. This actually puts me off, But i get even more annoyed if someone from my friends list does it. I am here to interact & make friends & would rather reply to mylotters who take the time to respond to my comments.

I always go and at least answer a few. Some of them we answer alot to and others just a few.

Yes. Sometimes, especially if I have a question for them to reply back to me with. That is what bothers me, when they do not respond.

Well, for me I will always make comments to the response on my discussions. I am excited to know what their opinions in my topic that is why I will always go back ang answer them. I will reply to all who responded to my discussion. I never select.. Even if they are not in my friend's list I will still answer them. Unlike others who just select the responders. If it is not in their friend's list they will not reply. That is what annoys me. Yes, but I don;t care... anyway, I am earning when I made my response and if they don't reply? the lost a cent hahahaha....

It is irritating. I try to always respond to others responses on my own discussions. I think it's rude not to.

Sometimes it is irratating when others do not acknowledge that you have responded to their discussion. I do understand that many of the people who use myLot are only here in an effort to make some easy money so they hurry through every post and just try to make as many as they can in a day. The extra money that is made here is ok but I like the idea of community and love to be in a good discussion with people.

Hello dfollin! It doesn't irritate me actually. I find it annoying. I do think that a discussion must be an interaction so if the owner won't give comments to his/her discussion, it won't consider as a good discussion. Quiet confusing right?hehee..

Not really. Cause it took me a long time to realize I was supposed to answer back. I didn't think I was. When I found out other people were answering me back when I answered one, then I figured it out. If they're new, they might not realize they can, or should. Then there's always the problem, when the comment is so perfect, there really isn't anything you can say. Except something trite, like good answer.
