Yesterday morning, I was sitting at my desk. Right where I am now. I was fretting about some things that are going on in my life at this time. But then, I turned my thoughts to God and all of a sudden, I could here the birds singing outside. The birds reminded me of Matthew 6:25-34. This is where the Lord talks about how he takes care of the birds of the air. He feeds the Sparrow and we are much greater than any bird.
So if he takes care of them, surely he will take care of me. After all, I am his child. Sometimes, it can be easy to slip into the cares and worries of this life. But I am so glad that our heavenly father remains faithful to his children. Does God ever remind you of his faithfulness in ways like this? Do share.

When I look at my husband, he had a massive stroke 4 years ago which they did not think he would live though. then they said he would never talk and then they told me he would never work. Well he is talking and working just fine. I know with God's help and guidance to all involved in his care and rehabilitation he was able to go back to work.

Your testimony is wonderful. I love to here stories like that. They leave the doctors scratching their heads and trying to think of a medical excuse for something that only God can do. "Whose report will you believe?" We shall believe the report of the Lord." Thank you so much for sharing.

Oh yes Rozie, all the time. Before I go to bed everynight, I read a page from "The Daily Bread", I read the page for that day, its a Christian Booklet that i pick up from church. Yesturdays reading was about the passage that you have spoke about. I don't know if you ever read them, if you are interested you can go to the website and sign up. They can send the booklets to you, its free too. I pick mine up at church. The site is: www.rbc.org The booklets are not any specific denomination, they are stories of faith and have Bible verses too. I have learned so much in the last few years about faith and not getting worried and upset about things. I am human and of course I still do worry some. I try to hand my problems over to him, he does take of of me. Some how things work out.

It is so interesting though, that each trial is tougher than the other one. This causes our faith to stretch and grow just a little bit stronger each time. The key is to remind ourselves of his prior faithfulness. He always comes through for his children. I have heard of "The Daily Bread." As soon as I am settled, I will order it to continue to build my faith. Thank you so much for sharing.

God always reminds me of his faithfulness in little ways and sometimes big ways. He is just wonderful like that. It's like you said I am his child and he will take care of me. He will see that I have what I need, not what I want. I have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and clothes on my back. Sure I want other things, but these are what I need.

Hi Rozie dear! I do agree with you my friend! God is Good and will always take care of us. There are so many times that I have fallen but He never abandoned me and never let go. I always find myself worrying and depressed but He always picks me up. I am glad that He is always there for me..for you and for all of us.
Take care and have a nice day!

Hi dear friend! Yes, I feel the same way. My heart cries in joy whenever I think of His Goodness and at the same time I do feel guilty knowing that I do hurt me sometimes. But I trust that He will never forsake us.
God bless you more and more dear friend.
Take care Rozie dear!
with love,

I am a newly converted Christian, and I pray about 4 or 5 times a day. But I don't know what happens next. I believe that I am saved because I don't do the same sins any more (and I have been tempted) and I obey His commandments.
My wife and I are Catholic but I don't consider myself Catholic, but a Christian. But my wife wants to stay a Catholic. I was not struck with the Holy Spirit, nothing earth shattering happened to me to change me, but instead I made a conscious decision to seek out the Lord, to call on Him to tell me what my purpose is so that I can serve Him, but he has not told me anything. But I am continuing to read the Bible (I'm on 2 Samuel in the Old Testament - I have never read the Bible before) and I keep up my prayers. I hope He answers me soon.
The thing about Catholics is that they don't talk about salvation the way Christians do. They just go to church every Sunday and probably forget about worshiping the Lord until next Sunday. They don't show that Joy that I hear when Christians talk about God. I still think a Catholic can be saved, but I want to be a born-again Christian. Not a Catholic.
Thanks

Oh yes, I have many trying moments, where I stray from my rock and salvation. Then something will happen to make me realize that I am not alone. I am going through trying times now, my God is providing my needs. Even if I do not have butter, God is providing rice, when I am troubled, he puts people in my life that give me hope. He will never leave me nor forsake me
