I sleep in the fetal position. I try to sleep stretched out but when I wake up I am in the fetal position. And on my side. I cannot sleep on my back, I have notice when I do this I have nightmares. When I sleep on my stomach it hurts the lower part of my back. So it is the fetal position that makes me sleep comfortable.
Sleeping can become very interesting too. I have waken up and found out that I had been drooling in my sleep, I have waken myself up from a deep sleep snoring loud. I remember once when my children was living with me that they said I was screaming in my sleep (nightmare I assume).
I have never been told I walked in my sleep.
What position do you sleep in?
What are some of the strange experience have you had doing a deep sleep?

I actually prefer to sleep on my stomach. I guess it's due to me being told that I should sleep on my side when I was pregnant with both of my kids. After having to try to sleep that way with a growing belly twice I got tired of sleeping in that position for a while. I also like to sleep while laying on my back with my legs up. But as I fall asleep my legs tend to fall over and it wakes me up with a start!
The strangest experience I've had while in a deep sleep was laughing so hard in my dream I woke myself up. I thought for sure that I must have been laughing harder than I was, but it turned out I was only giggling.

I prefer to sleep on my side or else on my back. I always end up sleeping in a narrow part of the bed as my better half always spreads to take three quarers of the bed.

i prefer to sleep either on my back or on my sides. i cant sleep on my stomach either or it will hurt my back.
try to sleep on ur back by putting a pillow under ur knees and another pillow under ur shoulders and head. it will take the pressure off ur back and ease ur back. plus, it is better for ur posture.

I don't sleep very well anymore, but when I do, I sleep on my back on the couch.. That is when I do my best sleeping.. I can't sleep on my stomach because it hurts my lower back also, I can't get comfortable sleeping straight while on my back, so the sofa is the best bet for me..

I sleep in all sorts of positions and I must move a lot during the night because my mattress is usually hanging off the frame. I know I snore because I've awakened myself and because my family delights in telling me about my snoring. As a child I talked in my sleep and my parents told me I once walked in my sleep, but I don't know if I still do, I don't think so. If I remember my dreams, which is rare, they're usually weird and often funny.

hi chevee!
when i sleep i always face on my right side or left side. that is when i feel the comfort in my sleep. there are times that i accidentally lay on my arms and maybe it presses my head too much on my arm that ends up feeling very numb. do you get what i am trying to say? hahaha! when that happened to me the first time, it scared me a lot making me feel i won't be able to feel my arms again. that the feeling will remain that way forever and it will end up being amputated because no oxygen and blood circulation occurs in it. but after how many seconds, the feeling comes back to its normal feeling and blood circulation begins to happen. hehe.
happy posting and happy mylotting!

Hi there!
I seldom have different positions when I sleep. I am not fidgety or restless when I'm sleeping. I know that cause there are times that I wake in the same position when I slept. I can even sleep at the edge of the bed without falling down from the it.
My usual position would be lying on my side with my arms tucked under my cheeks or my chest. Actually I am almost comfortable at any position, especially if I am really sleepy.
Ciao!

I love to sleep on my tummy :D
I think it's ok untill you get your big round belly. It leads to a very comfortable position. I sometimes also sleep on my back. But I can not sleep straight. Sleeping straight has always been a problem for me and thus my body posture has stlightly deformed.

I can't sleep on my back! It drives me crazy. I sleep on my side, but usually end up rolling over almost onto my stomach. I also sleep so stretched out that I'm from the top left of the bed all the way to the bottom right, diagonally. lol I take up the whole bed, and I'm only 5'6. I dont' like to cuddle either, I need my space when I sleep. The older I get the more I find it hard to find a comfortable position. Like, I don't know what to do with my arms and wrists. Sometimes I end up sleeping on them and they get all bent weird. It's annoying. You would think finding a way to sleep that is comfortable would be as easy as breathing or eating, but it's not for me! The strangest thing that happened though was I dreamt I was eating a marshmallow and ended up having the pillow in my mouth! lol

I always sleep on my right hand. But I can also sleep on my back when with someone. I think sleeping on the back can spare the pressure of your heart, which is good to your lifetime of heart according to the scientists.

Hi chevee~I usually sleep on my side too. I don't know if I
sleep in the fetal position or not. I sometimes will stretch
my legs out somewhat. I also sometimes do sleep on my stomach
although lately not so much. When I broke my shoulder I had
to sleep on my back and that was very uncomfortable. My bf
says that I snore. I do have a deviated septum so I know that
I have sinus problems because I wake up with my nose all stuffed
up and can't breathe! I do have nightmares, but don't always
remember them for long after I wake up.

I always sleep on my side. One of my brothers sleeps on his stomach. I don't know how he could ever stand that. My hubby sleeps on his side, but sometimes he'll go sideways, lol, and I'll have to shove him over. I have a sister in law that laughs in her sleep, and so does my husband.

My pattern of sleep is not stable too,my favoriate position is on my right side, but when my bed is next to a wall,I always sleep towards the wall. An interesting thing happened to my BF several days ago,he talked after he fell asleep, and I answered, we had an conversation in his dream and he didn't remembered it the next morning at all.
