I want to get into childrens writing but...

I want to get into childrens writing. Small books for kids and things like that, but I have no idea how to get into these things. If you have any ideas or comapnies that are looking for things inparticular like have ideas on what they want and they are wanting someone to put it to life please let me know. Also if you have any ideas as to what companies are good to work with or how to even get into these things please let me know they would be greatly appreciated.

whats stopping you from doing this? just write, dont worry about getting into what ever you want. there are lots of books available in the library that can help you as well as many sites on the net that can help you both get started and help you along the way.

One thing to add - have a look at lulu.com if you have stuf ready for publishing. They help publish online and in real stores all over the place. I have no experience of them myself, but their site comes up in just about every discussion on getting published I've ever seen, all over the web!
