With your laptop are you one of the type of people who just shove the cords mouse etc. into the bag in a tangled mess? Or are you one that rolls everything up neatly? OR are you one who rolls it all up neatly AND ties it with twisties?
I've come across all three types of people with laptops being dropped off to be fixed. There's also a forth type that says what you need a power cord for it? because they NEVER bring the cord.
Which are you?
I wind mine up and tuck them in my bag.

Funny you should ask. My husband and I are sharing my laptop, so it travels a lot between my bedroom and the living room. I am cursed when it comes to cords. Every cord I touch turns into a tangled mess. We have the charger cord and the internet cable that tend to get tangled up.

I tie it neatly since I need to take my laptop almost daily for work. Therefore I need to tie everything neatly including the mouse cord and the battery wire in order in the laptop suitcase.

I wrap the cords neatly and use the little velcro straps that came with them to keep them neat. I do it mostly because I don't want to have to deal with a tangled mess later, but also because I think it is probably better for them, will make them last longer. And I never go anywhere without the cord, since my battery doesn't seem to last very long, I plug in whenever possible.
