How do you find the right balance when it comes to college life? Of course you have to go to class, but how do you divide the time not spent in the classroom? Is there a way to balance work, school, social life, personal time that doesn't drive a person up the wall? What is the secret to the best college experience?

it's all about time management and prioritization. aside from the time spent in class and work, we have to set a certain time limit to do certain things. you should write down what you do for a week and for how long to see where your time spent actually goes. if you see that you're watching too much tv, out partying too much, or not studying enough, then you will have to adjust accordingly.

My recommendation may or may not help you. It depends where you are in your life. One thing that I found that is helping me have a great college experience is getting married. The reason marriage helps so much is because instead of worrying about spending time with lots of friends and going on dates, you can spend time with your wife. Also, it helps because you have your own home to do homework without roommates making lots of noise. This last semester was my first semester as a married student, and I got the best grades ever, had fun, and didn't go crazy. If you're not looking to get married right now, I would recommend setting your priorities. Do you want to make money to be ready for life after college? Do you need to do well in school to get a good job? Setting your priorities will help you know where you should spend most of your time. Good luck.

I never went to college, although I would have loved to... Long story there I won't go into.
Anyway, I know it's a stressful time, but it's possible to find a good balance. Many people do and college can be a very fulfilling time where you gain knowledge and learn about yourself and who you'd like to become as well.
Best wishes! :-)
