why do you think patrick star acts like a stupid in Spongebob Squarepants. He also has memory loss sometimes. But my favorite character is patrick and squidward

I think they're basing it on the fact that starfish doesn't have brains.Patrick doesn't do much of thinking because he doesn't have brains.he ends up making funny actions and remarks.my favorite episode is when Patrick's parents are visiting him.Patrick is a bit worried that his parents might think he is still a "baby", so Spongebob decided to act stupid so Patrick will look smarter.at the end,the "parents" who visited Patrick were really not his parents.

Patrick star have a small brain, this is make that starfish act like stupid!!! I love Patrick and Spongebob itself, Stupid and smart is the better comedy in Spongebob Squarepants. I love that show...haha.

patrick is a stupid friend of spongebob and innocent starfish hihihi, but he is a lovely friend and kind starfish. i can not imagine that i will get a new friend like patrick
