I took a few pictures of our first snow of the year, I know it isn't much compared to what everybody up North is getting, but I thought it was pretty coming down this morning. We don't get much snow here in Oklahoma, if we do get some its usually about what it looks like in the pictures, at the end of the day, its gone, but its been very cold here lately, its only in the teens right now, and supposed to get colder this evening. When did you have your first snow of the year, and how much do you usually get and do you enjoy it?

We haven't had much snow at all this year. And it is generally gone the next day. I totally enjoy snow. I like to make snow angels in the snow. I was trying to recall and we didn't have a snow fall. We have had more ice storms than snow storms.

Yeah, thats what happens here too, we don't get much snow either. I don't think we've had a big snowfall for 5 yrs or so, we do get ice storms, and it gets bad around here, we had two last year, and we went a week without electricity, some ppl went two weeks. Thanks...

Oh!! we never have our first snow of this year yet. I had a discussion one time asking of how thick is the snow in other places because in my place we never have snow yet this winter. But last night we have the coldest temperature.. it was 10 degrees. I know this is not so cold for others because some have below zero temp but so far that is the coldest we have here in my place. This week will be cold but no news of having snow.

Yeah, by the middle of the afternoon it was gone, we didn't get that much to begin with. It did get really cold here last night too, it was 5 degrees this morning, that was our low, with a windchill of 0. It doesn't usually get that cold here either, blame it on global warming I guess...lol. Thanks

Yes this year seems alot colder, in fact we got our first snow of the year on Christmas Eve, we had a White Christmas this year, the first time in a long time, it was really pretty. In fact, its snowing today(Jan. 3rd), as I'm writing this, and its been so cold, all the snow we got on Christmas Eve is still on the ground, it hasn't melted very much. I don't plant flowers or vines on it, but I do have a couple of rose bushes that are grown around it. Its pretty here, especially in the summer, everything's green and we've got lots of trees and hills..Thanks

Well, we got our first snow like almost 2 weeks ago, and personally it is enough for us to last the yr. It only lasted on and off about a week, but it was enough. We were snowed in for 2 days, and many people even lost power. We are back to our normal 40 weather, and I will take it any day. Yes, SNOW is beautiful but when it impedes what you are able to do for the day as in negative it is something you do not want again as well.

So it was around last December or this January that you had your first snow, I guess. Yeah, I think that it is a good time to have some snow by this time of the year. There was one year when it happened to snow on December 1st, but this year we had our first snow much earlier in November, which is rarely seen here. Anyhow, I like snow, but not too much. Otherwise it will cause some inconvenience to our life and work. These days we are having sunshine and I like it when it is nice and warm in winter.

I can't remember when this was, probably around December, we haven't gotten any snow yet, we probably won't get any till January, which is normal for us, it doesn't get real cold here, so when it does snow it doesn't stay around for too long. Yes, it can cause inconvenience for some people trying to go to work, if they're like me and don't drive in the stuff..lol...Thanks

When I was younger, I remember it snowing most all winter on and off. As I have gotten older, the snow has been less and less. I am expecting it to snow a lot more here this year. We have been getting alot of rain throughout the summer which was different. We have been in a drought for the last couple of years until this one.

No we haven't gotten any snow yet this year, probably around January we might get some, it doesn't get very cold here, so its a wonder that we get any. Yes, I hate driving in it, I'd just rather stay home where its warm. You have a nice day too..Thanks
