Yes you are right graphics card with more nice feature is expensive. Its cost is more because costly graphics card is having graphics processor. So, due to graphics processor it costs u more as well as memory capacity of graphics card.
Cheaper Graphics card is having low capacity processor.

i agree on that part that graphics card is expensive too but it really depends on the model or the brand of your graphics and
also its specs and everything that made it great compared to others.. the quality of the product i believed is also a factor that
made the product expensive. Most advance graphics cards are really expensive compared to those other graphics card..

Ya i also think that the graphics cards are quiet expensive and i think that the hard disk drives also are quiet expensive compared to the other parts whch are quiet cheap only..the RAM is the cheapest thing that you could get in a computer and in my country it is as low as $10 dollars for a 1GB RAM but whereas we get a hard disk only for a minimum of $50 dollars..i dont know why the hard disk costs so much but hope that the rate of harddisk comes equal with the RAM one day or the other and the graphics card also...

The thing is, RAM gets exponentially more expensive. 1GB of RAM = $10 is pretty extreme. Most high quality RAM that DDR2 800 or DDR3 + costs around 60+ bucks. With A hard drive however, you can get say around 80GB for around $35, and 750GB for around $130. See what I mean? In general you RAM is more expensive per GB, and you don't really need more than 4GB at the moment.

Graphics cards are expensive? Pshaw. Look at computer processors if you want to look at the expensive components. Sure the latest graphics such as GTX285 or Radeon 4870 can get expensive, especially when you start to add aftermarket coolers, factory clocked, and memory extended cards. But CPU's? The intel i7 likes to make processors that are 1k+. The processor is the most expensive part of any computer.
