I was looking at the news on Yahoo! and I noticed there was one that said something like Vanessa Hudgens was going to be in the twilight movie, and after looking around found out that she auditioned for Leah Clearwater. I personally do not think that she would a good Leah, simply judging by the fact that she usually plays perky roles, while Leah is sort of quiet and down to earth. Any comments or reports of whether this is true are welcome:) For example your opinion on Vanessa, or any news you have dug up about the rumor. Thanks, and Happy Mylotting!

according to the films producers, she hasn't auditioned. apparently no one has, as the character won't be in New Moon, as it's a very minor role at that point. she won't be cast until a later film.

yes, i heard that... if she does audition though i really hope they don't give it to her. she's a good actor but not a good match for Leah
