When you can't find nothing else to watch on tv. Do you go and find something else to do like surf the internet or do you just watch reruns of things.
Sometimes I will find myself just watching reruns because I do still surf the internet, but I like to watch tv while I surf the internet. And at this time I cannot find anything to watch. So I just turned on a rerun of House.

All I have to say is thank goodness for our DVR. Usually I have enough different shows recorded to keep me entertained for hours. I usually do my tv watching after I'm done surfing the net, so if on the rare occasion there are no new shows to watch, and I don't really want to watch anything I have recorded(which has happened) I usually don't go back on the internet. I will watch reruns if I really like the show. More often than not though I will look for a tv movie on Lifetime or the hallmark channel to pass the time.

If I can't find anything on the television I see no reason to go to reruns. What I do is go to the computer and surf the internet, or I may decide to read a book since I do love to read. Or else I will pick a DVD and watch a movie.

Sometimes I'll do that too, pick a dvd to play, until something good comes on. We have alot of movies here I haven't seen.

If I can't find anything to watch on TV, I will either find a program I recorded on my DVR, pop in a DVD, or even go online and watch a video on YouTube or other sites. I have my exercise bike in front of the TV, so I'm actually burning calories while watching.

I also have a DVR and I usually just watch something I have recorded. I can't surf the internet and watch TV at the same time though. I'm too easily distracted! LOL

Lol, wow. I have alot of things recorded too, but some of them are from shows that my husband and I both like to watch, so I normally waits till he gets home to watch them. So, then I'm just sitting and watching a rerun till he gets home. Lol

How about this turn off the TV! It does have an off button you know. In fact there are very few shows that I make a point of watching regularly. Most of the time my TV is on in the background for news or information or perhaps even music. I very rarely watch things more than once and if I do it's because I liked it a lot.
However, when there is nothing on that I want to watch, I have no problem turning TV off. I like to read so often I wil switch to a book, or puzzles or something else that will keep my mind occupied. There's nothing I hate more than staring blankly at a television screen. I would much rather be doing something that requires some thought, I really find watching television a mind numbing experience, especially, if there's nothing on that interests me.
Happy Mylotting!

Yeah, I know there is an off button, but most of the time I like the tv on as background noise while I mylot or whatever else I'll be doing on my computer. There are alot of things that you can learn from watching tv, it just depends on what you are watching. Which I watch alot of things that I learn from. If I turn off the tv, then I get very distracted from the computer. So I have to have the tv on. Thanks for your response.
