Concerts, Sporting Events Are You Still Going

Was just wondering how many of you are still attending these things with money being so tight. Tomorrow night the Eagles are playing here and I have seen some tickets going for $165.00 per person. That is $330 per couple, not counting money to park, drinkks, if you go to dinner before the show. Even if things were not so tight I just can't imagine that much for a few hours. I love the Eagles and would love to see them, but not at that price. Superbowl just around the corner, I know the tickets for that are sky high. Who can still afford this stuff? The show is sold out and I know there won't be empty seats at the superbowl either.

As of this time, I haven't been into any concerts nor games. However, last year, my friends and I went to the broadway show, Les Miserables. Most of the time, if we are going to spend money on this paid events, we go to watch theater plays. There was only one time that we went to a concert and that's about it. I haven't tried watching games as I am not much of a fan.

When I go, I only go when I get good deals. When I went to games, I buy tickets in advance and it's cheaper.
