do you listen to the radio

i dont listen to the radio here because there isnt 1 good station in the whole city!! they are mostly country music which i hate but then the ones that do play rock or hip hop/pop like play 3 songs over and over again for MONTHS non stop

It's funny as I would think I would listen to the radio more but I don't listen to it much at all. I tend to listen to my own music more, on CDs and on my computer. I think it's maybe because I don't find a lot of the kinds of music that I like on the radio. Sometimes there are times when a station will be playing something I like but if I'm not in my car at that time, then I won't hear it. ALso I usually have my CDs on when I'm in the car so I can listen to all my favourites. If I get bored of what I've got in the car and I'm on a long journey, then I will turn the radio on, though it takes ages to find a station playing something I like. Then that song goes off and most likely I won't like what they play next! So I have to re-tune. Or loads of adverts come on, which I hate! So it gets to be a real pain. I often think I should try tuning into the radio more often when I'm online as the tuning is better and there are more stations to choose from. I know if I listen to the radio sometimes I will hear new stuff or end up listening to something that I wouldnt otherwise have thought of trying.

I love to listen to music of all types. I don't like all of the talking they do on the radio. If I am listening to a station that should have music on it I want to hear music. I really like hip hop and some of the older rock and roll as well as some country but not the really old country.

What about you Sisco? how do you feel about the radio and commercials and everything?

i only listen to the radio when i am on the road but in the home never.

I like to listen to either the rock station or the current hits station. They usually have new music every week or so, so I get to hear the newest songs from hit artists, which is pretty nice.

ya,i listen to radio in the morning as well as in the evening.i used to listen to the songs.when a commercial comes ,i change the station and listen to the one which has songs.in chennai we have more than 9 channels.so we change the station we want.i also listen to it in the evening when i am returning back to my home from collage...happy myloting and have a nice day.......

Any kind of music which is being played by radio, specially the old songs. With all the computers and cds, I still feel that I don't have full collection of songs I like, so, when they play old musics; I just feel that I am flying over the clouds in the sky. You know the beauty of radio is that you can listen to it even if you are taking shower or working in the office. It will rarely take concentration away from you.

i pretty much hate the radio, i hate listening to the same 25 songs played over and over again! and commercials bug me. i cant stand listening to people talking on the radio unless its like a major news story thats only like 5 minutes max (and then im bored) when i do listen to the radio its (in my area) 94.5 KS95 (its like more alternative, but overall "variety"---or so they lable themselves) and Jack FM, 93X (but when they start playing screaming metal i change it---i like it better when i can at least partially understand lyrics) and in my area 105.3 used to be awesome (kinda like Jack, but EVERYsong was amazing) but now its like Drive 105 and its dumb. and of course, like everyone, i occasionally flip thru the top 40 stations. i like some of the songs...just not on repeat all day.

I always listen to random radio every morning... because some of them have great songs... already listening to radio for 5 years... ^^

I used to listen to the radio everyday, and most of the programs are music. But I seldom listen to it nowadays, coz I have turned to internet.
