The best site to start a blog?

Besides MyLot.. which site do you think is the best for starting a personal blog?
I'm looking for a few specifics:
1. Must be FREE
2. Easy to navigate
3. Easy to customize with no fancy skills required
I was going to attempt to start blogging on blogger.com but when I started, it really wasn't easy to do. The templates are boring and you need to know HTML if you want to make it personal. It's really hard to navigate around on that site and I have tried to find a list other people's blogs so I can read them but the only ones they list are few top popular ones. You would think they would have a directory broken down into catagories for people to visit and read but if it's there, I can't find it.
I visited a few other blogs recently and they look nice but I wonder how much time and energy they had to put into getting them to that point - I do not have a lot of time and I'm just not THAT creative at the moment to waste my time creating blogs all of the place in an effort to find the perfect one - so I'm turning to all the wonderful people on MyLot. Which is your favorite blog site?

I forgot to mention that Mylot isn't a blogging site. You can't start a blog here.

Thanks.. but what is the "blogs" tab above for if not for blogging? Maybe I need to pay better attention but I thought when they first came up with the "blog" section - people were saying you can make money on MyLot by blogging here? I never really checked into it since at that time I wasn't interested in blogging anyhow but I've always had the impression that people blog on MyLot (?)

Mylot is a discussion based community and there is no such thing as mylot blog. I was under the same impression when I discovered that mylot only lets you submit your blog to them and then mylot displays other peoples blogs within their interface.

I guess blogger is the more simple then wordpress, and I prefer blogger for the first time, after that I use my own hosted wordpress.

i feel blogger.com is really good and very ec for beginners. well it is not difficult at all to learn html. rather i thought my friend how to do in blogger and she has learnt so much from tht. she had no knowledge on html. just try to open one and templates can be added from anywhere. u have to just cut and paste the html. tt is all . there are so many sites that have templates. u have to just search the best. any help do let m knw. i can help u out. u can check my blog also. blogger is good and ec to navigate and very widely used.

I suggest you just go for Blogger, if you find it hard make some research, there are many hints or guide that you can find on the net. Enjoy blogging and hope you will earn from it.
