cuts in arts have been happening all over where i live. do you think the goverment should cut funding to these programs? i don't, i work in the arts/heritage program and i see how good they are for people, especially children. in one museum 100% of their funding for educational program was cut. people get such a great oportunity to learn and have fun in these settings why do they keep cutting it out

Government should spend money responsibly. That does not mean that funding for the arts should be cut. Any government that fails to support its rich artistic culture contributes to its demise.
Art is as important to our society as is science or agriculture.

As the mother to a few avid artists and an artistic husband, absolutley NOT!!!! Things are constantly being taken from our children then leading them into boredum. Then what do bored kids do to pass the time? They get into trouble then they arent able to grow on what their hearts interests are. I think it is a shame to keep cutting things that promote positive growth. Now figure out a way to take some money from the electronic games that seem to consume them. I am all for that.
