Well i am coming to Texas Houston from India. This is my first trip next month. Hope it would be a great time over there.

Herro ag00101 Welcome to mylot. May you enjoy the wonderful and educational experience I am having at mylot. Although I was born and raised in California, the military stationed me in San Antonio in 1976. We raised our son and have retired here. We consider ourselves adopted Texans as we have lived here 30+ years. We have lived in the same house, gone to the same church for 20+ years. I think we will be here until we die. We even plan on being cremated and buried at Ft Sam Houston cemetery. Prosperous Texan mylotting

I'm not from Texas but I love watching Dallas and wear cowboy boots and a cowboy hat every day. I like to think that my spirit is from Texas!

I currently live in Texas. I wasn't born here though.

I live in Dallas and i dnt understand y everyone thinks were cowboys thats only in the panhandle area. Do they not know dallas and houston are in the top 10 biggest cities in america.

I live in Wichita Falls, Texas. Wichita Falls is on the Texas-Oklahoma border. I am located 2 hours north of the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex and 2 hours south of Oklahoma City. So we are right between 2 major metropolitan areas. Texas is a wonderful place to live. There is so much variety. We have plains, beaches, mountains and just about every terrain available in the rest of the country in one state. We have great universities, both large and small. We have many kinds of different entertainment venues, country and western (of course!), blues, rhythm and blues, Tex-Mex, rock, rap etc... Pay us a visit and you will see why most people who move to Texas make it their permanent home.
