Looks Like Another Late Night

Well I should have been able to go home almost an hour ago but it doesn't even look like I will get out of here anytime soon:( I am starting to think that I should start packing my bags when I go to work. As many of you may already know I work in an airport so delays are constant and you never know when you might be able to leave and when you think you will be able to you never can. I only close on Thursday nights and the other days I work day shift so I don't have it as bad as some of the others but it is still no fun. After hearing of the plane crashing I thought for sure there would start being a lot of delays but was very surprised to see that really there were very few and mostly everything was coming in on time. I looked at the flight board and was getting ready to start shutting down since it said everything was due in within twenty minutes!! Then that all changed when someone came by my counter to say that we had a flight that was atill on the ground and waiting to take off to come here and it happpens to be like a two hour or more flight so it looks like I will be late getting off tonight. It gets so boring just sitting here waiting and waiting for one delay to finally get here. Last week I stayed here till after one in the morning and it looks to be that way again. I guess it means more time for me to here tonight though!! :)
