Oscar season is around the corner, folks! In light of this, which movie, in your opinion, will win/deserve to win Best Picture. I hope you've seen both movies they're great. But I think, Slumdog Millionaire is better and should win. Among the films that are Academy worthy, this one is a breath of fresh air. What's with the plethora of movies this year that leaned on the dark side (e.g. The Dark Knight). Slumdog Millionaire is witty and insightful and brims with hope and humanity. It's an antidote for the pessimism and bleakness brought about by the world economic crisis we're experiencing right now. i-D

The music was good, and so was the acting. I am sure many Indian elites will be unhappy that the other side of India was portrayed. But that is a reality. I wish more movies like this are made. Our Bollywood makes movies that only entertains... let in entertain but let it only entertain by portraying the reality.
