I am going to wash my bedding tomorrow. You know, sheets. blankets, quilt, ect. The stuff that goes on the bed. The last time I did it was roughly a month ago. I told a friend and she informed me I don't do it often enough. So, we continued to talk and I told her my other beddings, I washed a few months ago and put them in their plastic storage case and the sheets in a drawer. They're lighter and more for summer. She told me, I have to wash them when I take them out to use them again. Anyway, is she right? How often do you wash your bedding?

I make it a point to wash my beddings at least every after 2 weeks. I love it clean and smell good. I have this attitude that it makes me feel so good to sleep when my beddings smell good and clean. And im not comfortable when its 2 weeks and not still washed. I keep extra beddings anyway so its not a problem when they are not yet dry in the hangers. I do that with my pillow cases too, floor maps and all.
This is the best way to scare away bacteria, and other insects. Cleaning will actually scare them away :P. Dont u know that clean beddings also make u help sleep better and prevent skin rashes. Yes it does.
So if i were you, make it a habit to monitor your beddings clean day. Even it makes u think its just additional chores again, dont be sad. Go and do it coz its for your own good too.
And also why not use fabric conditioner for them all. Its nice, u will feel ur in a 5 star hotel when u sleep in your bedroom:)

I wash our beddings, blanket and bed and pillow covers once a week, that's every weekend same with my baby's blanket and bed and pillow covers. Because i only washing laundry twice a week and heavy washing is always on weekends. Save with electricitiy and laundry powder.

I usually wash the bedding every sunday its my only free full day to do it sometimes we go out instead so it has to wait a little longer but no id not be able to sleep in it a full month withut washing it.
And yes if something has been in storage it will need washing just to make it fresh again but then i love nothing more than getting into fresh bedding!

Once in a week is good for the blankets and pillow covers.I insist on doing this at regular intervals as we spend more time on the bed and it should smell good at least.A clean bed gives a good sleep,I think.

i wash my beddings, about once a month..
they usually get soiled very quickly.. because i sleep without cleaning my feet properly..
Anyways... in a way your friend is right.. you need to wash your stored bedding again.. I feel you can just dip your beddings in a bucket with detergent for a few hours and then rinse off.. that should be enough
