what is acceptable and not?

As seen in a post, discussions being deleted because of emails, links and such? What is allowed and what exactly is not? Why do I see some links on discussions but yet this one says discussions are being deleted because of it! Is this not suppose to be an information site where our discussions are there to lead others to the information needed to get the answers needed? Or is it all a bunch of hog wash? I am new here so enlighten me!

Before respond any discussion or create your new discussion, is good idea to read myLot discussion guidelines. You can see this link at the bottom of myLot page with title "guidelines". If you see any discussion that not fit in myLot guidelines, don't respond it. Good luck.
