No, not really. I have never thought of my birthday as a special day for me. The last time I celebrated my birthday was when I completed 21 years of age. After that it has been a low key affair and now with family and job and being so busy, I hardly get time to think this over. My friends call and wish me, though.

I always remember my birthday. No, I don't say happy birthday to myself or give presents to myself. It feels weird to personally do so. Most of my friends remember it.

I think birthdays are special and every person should celebrate the day of them coming into this world. I also do something special for myself on my birthday. Hi there machel2008! I can say that I am guilty of this - greeting myself during my birthday. When I wake up during my birthday, it is the first thing that I do and I get used to that for years already. I guess it is just my way of cheering myself up in my special day. I may have no gifts for my self and that greeting is enough to make my day, add up to that the greetings of friends and family. I really don't need to give my self a gift. I go to church and celebrate the day with my boyfriend and the rest of my family members.

Sorry dear,Though I always can remember my birth day but no one says me happy birthday either my family or my friends. Actually in my family it is forbidden to say happy birthday with a party so my friends don't know about my birthday. I am not so much unhappy with it.
