one time when i was attending the mass, the father's preach is all about this, do you make the lord proud of you, having you as his son/daughters???? this question is really hard to answer and until now i cant find the right answer, i cant say YES and i cant say NO. its kinda 50-50. Right now i can only be proud of myself cuz i finished college and im still single . i can say that i have been a good daughter. but are these things enough?? are these things enough for me to consider myself that i make The lord proud of me??

I probably make Him proud in some ways like looking after my mom and my younger brother. I do my best to be a responsible sister and daughter. I think another one is trying to be a responsible student.. I'm not bad in school, I don't have bad grades. It's just sometimes that I lose discipline like for example, I end up skipping one subject because it's a minor course. I try to control my behaviour and I am able to successfully.. So I guess, He must be proud of me for stuff like that and for being a strong woman.

Hello ann_margaret! I think our Lord wants only one thing and that is for us to be a good person. Being a good person means you love yourself, you did not do anything bad or you did not hurt someone. Being a good person makes the Lord proud for us. Sometimes, I make the Lord proud of me, but there are really times that I can't help to commit mistakes and that's what I am trying to change.

I strive everyday to make the Lord proud of me. Sometimes I must admit, I do feel unworthy. The Lord requires more of us than to just be a good person. He requires that we live right. One time I did something that wasn't quite right. I kinda knew it wasn't right, but I felt like I could get away with it and it wasn't hurting anyone and so I did it. Well to say the least I got caught. The predicament that I was in was far worse than what I did. I felt so awful for days and days. I prayed that God would help me get out of that situation and He did. Nothing else was said about it. But I still felt awful after that. After much prayer and crying to the Lord I finally realized that I felt so bad because I felt like I had disappointed the Lord. I felt like I had let Him down. But I have learned that it's all about the choices we make in life. I will learn from the bad choices that I have already made in life and keep striving to please God. I think that makes the Lord proud of us. When we can learn from our mistakes and use them to better ourselves. I think that's one purpose of tests and trials in life. But the biggest thing to do to make Him proud is to follow His word and live by it.

Jesus is proud of us by following Him. We may have different ways to serve Jesus but always be sensitive to His calling. He will always show us what we should do to please Him.
To God be the glory.
