What are the advantages of using a relocation company to move overseas?

I was researching international moves and found this blog post: http://www.relocation.pn/international-moves/international-adventures-an-adventure-in-not-packing/01/14/2009/ The company looks legitimate. The question I have is have you ever made a move across international borders and did you hire a relocation company to help you or do it yourself? What are the advantages to doing it yourself versus using a relocation company to help you move to another country?
