I've taken over guardianship of my nephew as of last September and, ever since he started school, I've been emailing all of his teachers on a daily basis. I do this to keep up on his homework assignments, when his tests are coming up, and any behavior issues that need to be addressed. It's helped him tremendously because, previously, he was living in an environment where no one cared about his education. So, emailing his teachers daily has been a very positive experience for us.

I email my daughter teachers frequently. I love having the ability to do it. My daughter has special needs and it is very helpful to know about her day at school because most of the time she forgets what she did and/or learned. It also helps her with her behavoir to.
