I hate grocery shopping when I'm hungry !

I stopped by Pathmark on my way from work this morning. I wanted to pick up a 12 pack of beer for the upcoming weekend and a few bags of chips. I work the night shift with the weekends off, and today is friday which is my holiday, so I get a 3 day weekend for Martin Luther King Day. I go to work monday night which crosses over into Tuesday morning, so therfore my holiday is over. Butto ge tback to my point, I stopped to pick up a 12 pack of Bud Light limes for the upcoming sunday football playoffs. I go over to my friends house and we watch the games and guzzle down a few. But this morning I was hungry. And I think anyone that knows, you don't grocery shop when you're hungry! I grabbed my 12 pack of beer and 2 bags of chips. And then I found myself in the bakery section. All those freshly made cookies and cakes. It doesn't help that I have a serious sweet tooth for cakes. Mostly brownies. I'm standing there surrounded by 3 different types of brownie desserts, and all other sorts of cakes. I'm hungry as hell, and now I'm looking for someting to buy that I can eat on the way home in the car. I did that one once a 2 years ago. I was at that supermarket hungry as hell, and i found myself in the bakery again. I picked up a 12 pack of these many cupcakes with the frosting and sprinkles on top, got myself a bottles water, sat in the car and finished them all. I was drove home that morning stuffing my face with those cupcakes. There was frosting and sprinkels all over the steering wheel LOL. But today I talked myself out of it. I was in another isle picking up a pack of these New Nature Valley sweet and salty cashew bars that just came out, and I was looking at all the cereals and granola bars. YUM! Before I knew it I had a basket full of crap. I didn't even have that much cash on me and I was on the verge of loading up on junk. But I did a good job of just getting my beer and chips and my Nature Valleys, Chocolate Chex cereal,and a mini Cinnamon swirl cake from the bakery. LOL. yeah I still brouhgt my sweets. But at least this time I didn't scarf it all down in the car. But I was tempted to open up that Cinnamom swirl cream cake and wash it down with a beer before I got home.
