To think that someone in a business setting is ignoring your inquiry on an order that you placed, wouldn't that make you angry? It sure as hell does me!! I placed an order with this company on the 26th of January, some clothes for my mom and it just got to my her house YESTERDAY!! One day short of being four weeks later!! I had emailed these jackasses asking where the package was and they didn't email me back until AFTER the package arrived!! Get a load of the email they sent to me and what I sent back to them! ARG!! To think they can just blow me off like that, HA! From: **** **** ******** (*****_*********@hotmail.com) Sent: Jan 9, 2009 2:15:39 PM Subject: Order # *********** I placed this order on the 26th of December as a gift for my mother however, it has been 2 weeks since the order was placed and she has yet to see it. I would like to know what the hold up is. If this is how long it takes to receive an order from your company then you can, for sure, count me out of doing this again. I hope this is looked into and taken care of for I'm sure you would not like to lose a customer any more than I want to leave your company. Sincerely, Mary Beth Schaefer USPS Shipment # ******************** ---------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri, 16 Jan 2009 08:12:58 -0800 From: customerservice@*****.com To: *****_*********@hotmail.com Subject: RE: Order # *********** (#****-*****-****) Dear Mrs. ********, Thank you for contacting us in regards to your ***** order. Your package was delivered via US Mail on Jan. 15, 2009 12:21 PM to the following address: Mrs **** ***** *** *** *** Dr. ******,VA ***** We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have further questions or concerns please let us know. Sincerely, Judy ***** Customer Service 1-800-***-**** ----------------------------------------------------- As I said before, I placed this order on the 26th of December as a gift for my mother. Yes it finally arrived on the 15th of January which is one day short of being 4 weeks. Do you think that this is the right way to do business? 4 weeks after placing the order? Gee, I could place an order elsewhere and get it within a week and a half! If I don't get some sort of compensation for this delay then you can count on my never placing another order with your company ever again. Sincerely, **** **** ******** Order # *********** (#****-*****-****)

wow... First off, my mom works with ebay, she sells jewlery, she lets me watch when she deals with this stuff. Second off, Arriving 3 1/2 weeks late is different from being sent out 2 weeks late. Once its in the post offices hands, the company you baught from can't do squat. and for the record, if I worked for the post office, I would take a day or two off right after christmas too. Also, this has happened to us before, with my brothers game, right at christmas time, mom baught it about a week before christmas, they said they sent it out Dec 22nd, and when it finally arrived mid January, it was postmarked something like Jan 2nd.

I realize that once it leaves the business' hands it's up to the post office but for them to email me back two weeks after my first email AND after the package had arrived, is plain wrong. Simple as that. Now in your case, the merchant said they sent it on Dec 22nd but it's post marked Jan 2, tells me that they lied to you about when they sent it! That's wrong also, pure and simple.

Who the heck do they think they are dealing with. They need to get with the program, hehe. I am happy that you got your order for your mom, was it worth the wait? I hope she likes it, every lady likes to get a new outfit. Maybe you will be able to take her out, so she can strut in her new clothes, that should help cheer her up. Take care Cats,

I'm not feeling well today but it's a good idea however, I think she's still a little miffed at me right now, OH WELL! She'll have to get over it is all I can say. She did say she loved both outfits but thinks the tops are made too big and might have to return them for an exchange. Look the response I got below yours. lol

They did respond but didn't offer any apology or anything about the delay, just that it was delivered. Like, duh? I already know that dumb @sses.... I want to know what took so long?! ARG!! As if the delivery, that finally came, is going to make it all go away. Sorry Charley, it isn't going away that easily!! lol

BTW, yes she liked the two outfits but thinks the shirts are made a little big and might have to return for an exchange. Look at the response I got on #3. Someone wants their butt chewed out. lol Some people are just air heads.

They didn't even explain to you why it took so long for it to get to your mom! That's ridiculous! That doesn't sound like much of a company, and it really sounds like they need to learn the meaning of good customer service.

Exactly! I got responses that are all over the board on this issue especially with no 3. Now had this company emailed me back before the order was delivered then maybe I wouldn't feel so angry but they waited until AFTER the order was delivered. ARG!!

It does seem like a long time. I have ordered thru ALLUY and their standard shipping is no longer than 7 bus. days upon receipt of the order. It depends on company policy, I guess. My daughter orders clothes all the time and most she gets within 2-3 weeks but others take a bit longer. I would call them and ask them how long it normally takes for a package to be delivered if you were to place one with them....remain anonymous. Then, depending on their answer, you will know what step to take next. Did you order it directly or did you mail in an order? Being the holidays, I'm wondering if that may have been part of the hold-up. I would talk to them about it....maybe you'll get refunded for the shipping costs.

Not to split hairs Cats but from the 26th Dec to the 15th Jan is only 3 weeks. And they emailed you back in 1 week with an apology and an invite to let them know of any other concerns you had. Considering the time, straight after Christmas, I would guess that some staff might be on annual leave. I won an Ebay auction last week. I paid for the item within 5 minutes of the auction ending. The info said the goods would be sent within 5 days of payment clearing (which it did straight away) and should take 5 - 10 days in the mail. It's been 10 days now. This is crazy to me...if I pay straight away, why can't they make the effort to send my goods faster. Other times, goods take 2 - 3 days to get to me. It's so annoying and frustrating but I know that there is basically nothing I can do about it. I'm sorry you've had to go through this but I truly fear that these sort of things will happen more and more often.

Hi Cats, How's Gracie? Is she going to be back to normal with medication? This is the kind of service that you need to jump all over. There are so many good people needing jobs that if this person is too lazy to care about you, then she obviously doesn't care about her job. Time to write a letter to the company Top Dog. A month is absurd unless it's not in stock which you should be notified as soon as you make the order or get a notice. Don't waste you time with the underlings right now. Go to the top girl. You can ask or better yet go online to find out who the t Dog is. Good Luck!!! leenie

well i have not experience in placing order online . was it online. anyways, whether online or not order they should have given some explanation on the cause of the delay and should have given some discount or something like that to show their apology for the delay. cause i think that they owe you that. but i will surely going to be pissed no matter how sorry they were or ho much apologetic they are if they will be anyways, cause i think time on waiting on the product is really hard . and we order it for the hope that we will be able to use them as soon as possible or on the time they promised to arrived or delivered. i hate waiting for so long specially such long delays for the products. but incidents like this happen but i will surely going to remember not to order on them again. i will not give them any second chances and i will just order somewhere else. except only if i could not find the product in some place else then i will be forced to order on them again. but as much as possible i would avoid it if i could find some substitute for the product they are offering on other place.

I've had that happen too CatsandDogs and it's irritating to no end. If I really want to take it to the next level, then I just contact the corporate office and say you receivd off handed response and no one has yet to come up with a reason why there was such a long delay. I've done it before and got results, but you have to go through corporate offices instead of customer service. To be honest, the policies and customer service/shipping/order fullfillment, they all do things that are wrong or make errors that the higher ups don't know about.

That's pretty upsetting. I am sorry to her that you are having such a difficult time with them. Unfortunately, I hear this happens a lot from the smaller companies online. It has happened to me as well, even with some of the bigger ones. It has gotten to the point where I don't really buy anything online anymore... Haha. It is just easier that way. Anyways, good luck there.
