Okay so this is a discussion for all the married people on mylot. Sorry everyone but I have a few questions that only married people can give me the answer to. Firstly, do you think that you married your true love? Did you meet someplace special or ordiary? What do you think you'll talk about as a married couple 10 years from now? I joke with my husband that in 10 years from now we are going to be talking about how we can't wait for the kids to move out,LOL. Truthfully we love our children and we are in no hurry to have them move out. But I would like to hear from you, what's your story?

Hello CRIVAS! I am 100% sure that I married my true love. He is the most amazing and special man in the world aside from he is my first love. We talked about having a child 5 years from now and that 10 years from now we will be retiring in the Philippines.

Lets see, we have been married for almost 25 years, together 27. We were really young when we met and got married. He was 14 when we meet and I was 16 and 2 years later we got married. Everyone thought that we were to young and it wouldn't last, I can tell you we love each other still, if not more and appreciate what each of us does in our lives. I now know I married my true love, when I meet him thou I didn't like him and it took him time to even get me to go out with him! LOL! Lucky for me he was persistent! We meet in a trailer park so the place was ordinary but the circumstances weren't so I guess maybe it was fate. I was staying at a friends and he was babysitting for his aunt. Normally we would just stay in but for some reason decided to go for a walk and ran into him literally. LOL! Now we have 7 children, 24, 23, 20, 17, 17, 16, 13 and we have one of our 10 grandchildren that we are raising she is 2. So we always have something to discuss. I guess if I could have anything thou it would be more time with just him. Don't get me wrong I love my kids but we have never had just us time and I don't know if we ever will. In 10 years I see older versions of us still being the same as we are now.

I think I must have gotten married the day I was born because I have been married 41 years as of last month. I was young when I got married and he is 7 yrs older than I am. Our children are grown and we still have one who lives at home and I love it. We have grandchildren. We now talk about what we would love to do when he retires. I agree, don't be in a hurry for your kids to grow up and move out, keep them around as long as you can. I was lucky that I did get married young since I was able to enjoy my children and grandchildren and do fun things with them even though right now our oldest daugther is not speaking to us and is keeping her 4 children from us but one day it will all work out and we will still be able to enjoy them. The first time I saw my husband I knew he was the one I would marry, it took him awhile to realize I was the one for him though. LOL We met at a gas station, a friend of mine's boyfriend had an after school job there and she and I were waiting for him to get off from work when my husband come driving in, come to find out he come there often and knew my friend's boyfriend so I was introduced to him. We were married about a year and a half later.

i am in a band. i met my wife during the time when we held an audition for we need a singer. she was one of the auditioner and she is good. i think it was a special place not ordinary or may i say it is not an ordinary ocassion it was a special one. for we dont do audition everytime. i think we will still be as close as we are now after 10 years for we live together for 3 years and now we are married for 6 years. about children we have a son who is three years old. we waited for so long for a child. my wife had a lot of miscarriages before we hit the jackpot. so we are in no hurry for him to grow up and move out. har har har. we have a simple life. and i love my wife and my son so dearly. now she no longer sings. she is so good to stop but she choose that, to be a 24/7 hands on mom.
