Healt pulpitations . . aargh

Last night I was woken up with heart pulpitations, it felt like my heart was going to pound out of my body and was so so scarey, I actually thought to myself 'well if I die at least I'm quite happy' and i'm petrified of death, has anyone every experienced this before?

I get them a lot, infact when I first started getting them alonf with nose bleeds i went to the doctor and she said i was so close to having a stroke, so that was my start for the high blood pressure medications for the rest of my life...so be careful..

Thank you for your response, I'm gona see what happens over the next week and go from there, I've never had them like that before and it did frighten me a lot.

You might be just having panic attacks, they are quite common...
