are you closer to your son or your daughter

I think that I am closer to my daughter. She is my baby though and the only girl that I gave birth to. She is a little me as my mother would put it. She has the same personality as I do and that might be why. My sons also have alot of the same personality traits and likes as my husband.

I think I have a closer bond with my son than I do with my daughter - for now. My daughter is 6 and my son is 4, so they are still very young, and of course with my son being "the baby", he's still up for cuddles and such where my daughter really outgrew it, for the most part, a couple of years ago. Both of my children are smart, but my son has a real thirst for knowledge - like me. He can "read" several books to me, and takes great pride in doing it himself - he gets upset if I want to read it to him instead! My daughter never really showed much interest in independent reading until she started school, but she has a very creative soul and wonderful imagination. So while I have no favorite, for now, my son and I have a closer bond, but I imagine that will change as they get older - probably several times.

I have the one son and no daughters. But my son and I are very close. We can talk about anything at all. He is married now and has three children of his own. When we get together there is still the closeness.

I actually have 3 girls ages 14,16 and 20. I feel closest to my youngest daughter because she has alot more respect for me and she is able to talk to me about anything.

I have only one son, so of course I am close to him. I think my mother is closer to my older brother. They were born on the same day. She see him every day because he lives upstairs from her. I think our personalities are what makes her treat one different from the other.

Im close to all my kids so it is hard for me to decide which one, hubby is closer to one of our sons but not so close to the other one, so who knows lol
