Hey marketing, thats so bad look i think they charge you this bigs amounts of fees because when you register your account at paypal you register as premium!! i have this mistake too lol... because i like it more that kind of account, so when i receive money they charge me a lot of fees i receive one time lol... 2 dollars and they charge me 2 dollars of fees so i was lost money and i recommend you to change your type of account to one personal so i do it that i contact the customer service of paypal and now i receive my money complete!! or try to send an email to paypal and tell they your problem and that you want a change of account to one personal :). well hope this can help you have a nice day and hope you will have a very good week ;) see ya soon and bye bye.

I am still making my first pay out from the internet. My brother has used PayPal as payment for yahoo bid. I haven't heard about anything wrong from my brother. May be you can send an email to the adminstrator for this issue. Hope you can solve it soon. HaPpY MyLoTtInG!

here in the Philippines paypal charge my account for only $3.50 when i withdraw my money using xoom, the money is readily converted into Philippine peso and can be sent to my account directly in minutes. well they charge $5 if you want to get your money in dollar currency.

well i am from philippines too i get charged only $1 every time. are you using a debit card when you withdraw your money. cause you will be charged $5. but there is bank account number in debit card. you should add that bank account number so that you will charge on $1. cause the $5 charged is for debit card and credit card withdrawal only.
and maybe you are using a premier or business account. that is why they charged you more besides the withdrawal charges.
i am using EON debit card which i have used to verify my paypal. there is card number on it that i used to verify my account. but to withdraw using it. there is another number which bank account number on the card which i added also to be charged only $1 for every withdrawal. so every time i withdraw i just choose transfer to my bank account. and that's it.
well hope you could share me what or how you withdraw your money cause i really don't understand why you get charged that much.
and usually i get the money a week. but lately faster than that like 3 to 5 working days. it is not the same.
i am waiting for my withdrawal too since it is already weekends and this day does not count. i expect to reach the third working day by tomorrow monday. wish i will receive it by tomorrow cause i really needed the money.

Well, personally, I am from the US, and have never had an issue with Paypal not paying me, or over charging me. I also always get my earnings deposited here from myLot into my paypal account with no issues either, and usually the same time they are paying everyone else here as well.
What you might need to do, is go to your Bank and ask some questions, and see how they can get this fixed, as it could be on your Banks side where the error is. But I do hope you get this figured out, and have better things to come from it from here.

Hi marketing,
wow..that's a big amount! I haven't tried that since it is free for me to transfer my money from paypal to my account!
How about calling them? maybe it was a mistake, I am not sure though! I mean it's not fair for them to charge you and you are not getting your money!

i found the reason why..when they transfered to my bank account it was converted to korean money and the rate was too low .then again when our bank denied it, it converted again to dollar and dollar rate was too high..so my money goes to that nonsense rate..cheers

Hello marketing friend. I am sorry for it. I hope that you will get the money into your own account. I have not tried to get the money from my paypal yet due to its high expenses up to 35 dollars. I will have to wait until I think that it is time for me to. Good luck with you, dear friend.

Hi marketing07, it never happened to me but its sounds so scary. I am using paypal but I have no problem with them. they transfer the money to my bank with no problem and the rate is reasonable. Yeah mine is high too but when I read the Terms then no questions asks. Anyway if you are located in the Philippines maybe I can help you with your bank transfer problem. Hope that paypal can re-solve your issue with them as soon as possible. Have a nice day.

Well 2 - 3 days but for some reason it can reach up to 1 week. But for my first withdrawal I got it for just 2 days. I mean i actually don't got it physically but the amount is already registered to my bank account. Do you know someone here in the Philippines?

marketing07,
You need to ensure that you have filled in your personal receiving bank details to PayPal accurately. If you don't and when your request for withdrawal fails due to non compatible banking information, they will have every right to charge you an exorbitant deterrent service fee. Read the conditions within, it is very clear.
If you have a local office, it may help if you can call them up and check. You may want to get a hold of your bank to check for accurate SWIFT or ABN numbers which is required for effecting the wire transfers between PayPal and your personal bank account.
I am always careful with these and so far I am hassle free here.
Take care and do the necessary before you get yourself penalized again.

Hi Marketing, It must be different for different countries because on a payment I made of $25 to someone I paid their charges for them too and that was only 25 cents and whenever I receive money I am never charged at all and when transferring to my bank as long as the amount is over £25 I am not charged either. I would look into this and find out why this has happened to you but on reading it soundsw like you made a payment and the funds weren't realised from your bank as there wasn't enough in you Paypal account. I hope you manage to resolve the situation. Huggles. Ellie :D

I have a feeling that Paypal charged you for the reversal of the bank transaction. Check the fees for this on their site. You also need to be aware of the minimum amount you can transfer so that Paypal does not charge you with any fees.
In my country, I need to accumulate 200 local dollar before making a transfer. No fees were charged. So what I do when I receive money in US dollars is to convert them to local dollars on the Paypal site. Of course, the rate of exchange is lower than available exchange rate. You expect this since that's partly how Paypal makes money anyway. Once you agree with the exchange rate, you can convert the money to your local currency. Once your local currency meets minimum amount, you can transfer it to your bank without fees.
Tip: I usually wait until the rate is more or less favourable before converting the money.

Possibly you may not have filled in your bank details properly, or your account name may not be matching the name on your bank account.
When i tried to withdraw, i noticed that my account was automatically upgraded to business from personal. In business account, our business name (like LTTe ltd. or Tropical traders etc) takes the place of the bank account holder's name.
I send 3-5 emails to paypal to find a way to change my account name, and finally got it canged using their customer services page. Then i was told to re enter my bank details to refresh the details.
Once i did that, i was ready to go, and requested withdrawal. I didnt get any message that the funds were not deposited, which means it was. I havent been able to check it out yet. But in my country, we get charged onlyRs 250, which is about $5.5 if the details are incorrect. The amount must vary for different countries.
