photos locked , cant scrap..what is this?

well orkut recently added settings to hide photos and you cant scrap to unknown persons. then what are these persons doing on orkut? if you dont want to show , they why you make online profiles , dont make it.

well i like these features they provide and increase security. the scrap features are for your friends and known people only not for people to contact you with. The photo addition was done because people use to take the photos from some profiles and make fake profiles or just modify those photos for different scandalous reasons. As all your friends and contacts can scrap you and also see your photo i do not think there should be any problem for you.

agree.. but sometimes a beautiful girl.. u know.. u need to see her pics.. earlier we could ,,, but now..they are blocked.

how many beautiful girls do you think really put up their photos on orkut anyways.. and if you knew you knew any one of those beautiful women. now after this addition they will really put up their own real photo on orkut without fear. You just need to add her.

Well its not that way, certain people do misuse them, who totally spoil the meaning of online profiles.

because they wanted to be clean in their orkut profile.Spammers often scrap the which is much irritating.And also we may want to share our personal photo within the friends group not to anyone.I like this new rule.

If we make our photos available to everyone then some persons are copying the photos and editing them and publishing them to other sources so this is problem to the persons who are acctually in the photos so this setting enables the users to allow only their friends to veiw their photos this is really a good feature of orkut.

Hey harjotdoad this is the security that is given by orkut to u.In orkut we can find several illegal contents.So it is dificult to keep publiclly.only their members can view their content.This is the best one.If u not interested then leave it.U can make the content publiclly.the u can get scraps from anyone in the orkut.Many people dont like it.So they make their account privately.
