ya mathew hayden is true australian cricketer...........but i found him unlucky as he get inform adn do not play good for last few months..........he wanted to play it till ashes series but he does not have a chance in playing it as he was being dropped in odi series and the 20-20 series to be played between S.A and austalia.........it is true about that if they can't find their place in top 20 they retire same as what martyn did few years ago...........
so he is agreat player

yea finally the big giant in cricket is retiring. he is a man with lot of skill and quality. he was a nice player. i still remember the old haydoos who stands halfway down the pitch and smashes the fast bowlers all over the park. its nice to hear that even though he is retiring from international cricket, he will play for chennai superkings in IPL. see you there hayden.. rock on.

yes even i have heard such a news but i still have not got a concrete evident as aricle or something
well he was going through a bad patch and he might have realised his time is st so it is better to retire. but yes it means another big blow to the AUS team. this is the problem with the old players
when they strt to go
they go all at once and suddenly they are looking weak.

Yes, I got the news of Hayden retiring. I read somewhere about this. That was the news on some channel. I could not understand much as most of the news was gone. The next day, I read Sehwag praising Hayden and wishing to open an innings with him. Then it struck me, what I had heard yesterday. I don't know why Sehwag was praising this man who once termed India as a third world country. What ever the explaination, I would never agree with the Delhi batsman.
As far as the issue of this discussion is concerned, I hope this news is true and remains true. The world of cricket in one sense will never see some great batting, but there's really enough of the Australians now. Let some other countries take charge of the No. 1 spot.
