They transferred everything into a new beta release of the software but they are still over there doing their thing at www.playlist.com I love that site and I listen to a lot of music on there since it doesn't violate the piracy laws.

If you have been on playlist.com (Project Playlist) in the last few weeks you would have noticed a message saying that January 15 was the last day for the old site and the new Beta site would become the only option... They were probably down switching everything over.

Never heard of that one, but I'd recommend the following:
http://www.seeqpod.com/ - make playlists from music available to stream online.
http://www.musicza.com/ - similar, better selection, but you can only have one playlist.
http://www.pandora.com/ - Streaming music again, but you enter a band/song and it goes on to play other random songs based on the ones you say you like/dislike.

It is up now.
I know they have been having some legal problems, due to songs that were added without permission. Some social networking sites have even made it were you cannot include your playlist on your profile. I know there was some mention awhile back that they would be "improving" the site to fix these problems. They did get a lot of exposure from the sites who have banned them.
