guys whats your view regarding this new icc ranking in which sachin and lara are not even in 20. in my view this is disgusting ratings based on player performance in a single year, for example lass year gautam gambhir scored huge amount of runs in odo,test. but few years back he was even struggling to make it in to indian team,so according to these rating he would be much higher ranked than sachin, does this make him a better player than sachin tendulkar. it is just an example to make my point. what do you think.

in my view ating is the new icc rating is disatrous in which the master blaster saching has not get place even in to 20......he perform well through out the year yet he is not in that bit strange

well although icc is the main body of cricekt all over the world, but let me tell one thing, they never made exception decissions when it came to india team. they are always jelous of our success i think. after all we are the richest board.
but any ways the icc ranking which they declared recently is a total crap according to me. well i do agree that sachin may no have played that many match winning inns as the players ranked above him but that does not diminish teh fact that he scored so many runs in both forms of the game. many players there in the list in total might not have made so many runs which sachin scored in just test or in just one day format.
and then the legendary saurav ganguly is not in the list
well in one day he is bound to come. this is a joke i guess again. he is the best opener with sachin and he is not in the list of top 100 in one day. i dont expect him in test but one day is a sure shot man....
hey ICC i guess you need few basic lesson on cricket

We cannot compare sachin lara etc with those in top 20.
i think what icc made is simply stupidity. sachin lara etc are legends. they should be there in top 10 if the ranking is based on real talent.Gambhir matured as a player. he is a much better player than what he was 2-3 years back.I was wondered why mohammed yusuf is there in 12th spot. he is a good player, i agree that. but still i strongly believe that he doesnt deserve that place. i said yousuf 's name just as an example. there are many in top 20, who doesnt deserve that place.

i think ICC has lost their reputation by ranking players of the calibre of sachin, gavaskar etc outside 20. This is a historic foolery done by the ICC. Whole world is wondered seeing that players who have come just recently and played very few international cricket are being placed much higher than the greats in the game like sachin, gavaskar. Thus in a way they have insulted these champion players. To put an end to this debate they should immediately remove this ranking system .
