One morning, my lab who was full of energy and loved to play went out on his walk. He never came back. I had a boy who used to walk him in the mornings, he decided to leave him open so he could run around. Well he got hit by a truch and died on the spot. I still cant get over it... what do i do?

Hi there,
I'm sorry for your lab. I can understand it's really difficult to overcome this situation, I have a yellow Labrador too. I do not let her go out, as I scare that she might not be able to watch out for cars. There's nothing you can do, but just let the time pass and hope you'll forget about the incident. Your lab will always be in your heart and may him rest in peace.

my cat was run over the beginning of december, i was devastated and its still painful now, so i mourn with you, the loss of your beloved dog. i am so sorry for you, the hurt is with you now, but try and think of the good times with your lovely pet. all i can keep saying is that my thoughts are with you and time will heal all hurt.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is a terrible thing to loose a beloved pet, even worse in such a sudden and tragic way. I work at a veterinary clinic and hearing the words "Hit By Car" just make me cringe every time.
Have you heard of the Rainbow Bridge? It is a poem that gives me comfort when I loose a pet. If you want me to send it to you, send me a message.
Again, I'm so very sorry.
