´Years of Refusal´ should it be the last Morrissey album or not?

One of the most influential artists of modern times, Morrissey has said that his latest album that comes out in february entitled ´years of refusal´ will be his last. In my opinion only the greatest musicians know when to call it a day. The question that arises is as follows: All of Morrissey´s work to date has been of the highest quality, in fact I fervently believe that his last album ´ringleader of the tormentors´ was one of his most brilliant albums if not indeed his best. This is why when we talk musicians that have had an exceptional career it begs the question; Is it the correct moment to retire or should he continue enthralling his multitudes of fans worldwide with his exceptional gift?
