which do u like more Nokia or sony

I been planning to buy a cell phone but though i liked two phones in end one is by Sony and another is by Nokia. I liked the shape of Sony but Nokia is market leader and is much more trusted brand. so I am confused..so which company is better in your opinion. Both phones has nearly same features and price only Sony one looks little sexier.

I prefer Sony phones for one main reason. Sony phones do not update or issue new models that frequent. In that sense your Sony phone is not getting outdated as much as Nokia phones. If i buy Nokia phone, surely there will be a lot of new models in the market in just a few months and your phone will decline from its market value in a short period.
I've been using my Sony phone for more than 2 years now. The way i see it, the features are not so different compared to new ones out there. One just have to familiarize himself in using Sony phone for the first time. But you will find it also user friendly like the other phone brands.

When it comes to durability, you can depend on Sony phones. I've dropped my phone several times, though it has some scratches on the body, It is still functioning well. You just need to be careful in chosing where to buy your phone. There are lot of fake manufacturers out there. If you buy original ones, you'll be satisfied with its performance.

I will go for sony because of the music clarity we get in sony and sony is very light weight where as nokia is very heavy when compared to sony. I know that nokia is most trusted brand and it has good battery backup but sony is also emerging as good phone in the market

Most people would go for nikia because it is trusted more than sony and for many other reasons but I would go for the sony for the same reasons. I has better clarity for music, it is very light and it is sexy.I think sony phones are great phones.

I like Sony Ericsson. I have had mine for two years and it works quite well. Nokia is more basic, and my younger son has it. He just got his updated a few months ago. but I did not need to update mine as it had everything on it from the start. And for looks Sony is much better.

We do not have that much choice here. We do know that Nokia and Sony Ericsson is quite good, but I know the latest updates for Sony are not as good. They are not making the kind I have any more, so I am thinking of getting an Iphone, since I already have a camera anyway. The cameras on the new Sony's are not as good.

I use sony ericsson. I think you should choose sony.
I will tell you a few reasons, why you should choose sony ericsson.
First, as you said shape and design of phone. sony is having a sexy look, most of the nokia phones are bricks.(bulky and rectangular shape)
Another thing, nokia produces more radiations and heat than sony ericsson. Nokia becomes heated up when we use it for am hour or so. especially when you use gprs. I have used sony ericsson for browsing net for about 4 hours continuous without any problems.
You can test this, use nokia for an hour for browsing and you will see the change.
Sony is easy to use with all setting arranged in one place, where as we can find that nokia has setting spread all over.

I have a nokia phone which i m currently using and it is Nokia 6820 . i frequently use it for Gprs connect it to my laptop with bluetooth. though net is slow but gives me access to net where idont have any other net.It is working fine but yes it does get heated a little bit. I have never used GPRS on Sony..none of my frnds which use Sony has Gprs on it.

I have only used two different mobiles. I had a nokia once but it was just a basic phone with nothing fancy on it, it was just a phone, no camera, no nothing. My next phone was a Sony Ericcson which I still have and it is great. I have never had any problems with it and it has all the functions I need!

You have to think of two aspects when it comes to shopping for a cell phone, in my opinion and depending on your needs, the phone needs to be from a reliable company, now as far as brands, Sony has a higher standard than Nokia but this last one lasts longer and has less technical problems, so there you have it, do you need something that´s going to last or something sexy ?

nokia is the best. I dont have faith in sony . I dont know why. However some phones of sony are also good. BUt there is no match for nokia especially nokia n series. THey are also cheap.While sony is expensive. i will advise you to buy nokia. BUt if you are looking for looks iphone is also good. So its up to you what you want.

Hi there agrim94. I prefer nokia better than sony. Its not only a trusted brand but also easy to use and there are so many shops where you can go if you'll have a problem with your nokia phone. Just be sure to buy only from authorized dealers so that you'll be sure that its original since there are some who faked the originality of cellphones they are selling. They even made the slightly used into new by changing the case so just be careful. Goodluck.

nokia is better compared to sony except for the sound quality and ofcourse the money factor...if u really care to buy a phone while spending less amount then i would suggest u to go for sony as nokia is a lot expensive compared to sony...but however nokia has more quality factor compared to sony.
as far as i am concerned i would definitely go for nokia if i had only these to brands to choose from
