I would like to know, do you prefer Silk flowers or real flowers? Which one would you choose for a speical occasion, such as a wedding ? Real flowers, that you will have to dry out to keep forever, or silk flowers that stay they way they are when you buy them forever ?

Of course I would prefer the real flowers but I can't always afford them so I would buy the silk ones. For a wedding I would prefer real. I think silk looks a bit cheap. For all other occasions silk is fine.

We've been talking about this recently. My friend is getting married this weekend, and they debated for ages about whether to have real or fake flowers. They wanted real, but they were also trying to get married on a budget. I think what they did in the end was use real flowers for the buttonholes, centre-pieces etc, and then decorate with a combination of real and fake flowers, which kept the costs down without looking cheap.

I like both. I mean silk flowers of course last forever and still look nice if you get the right ones, and I like real ones because they smell nice, and for a wedding I would use real ones that could be dried out.
