I was sitting here doing verry serious research on my computer when my daughter came upstairs, aparently she was having a laugh attack. well, I caught it, and couldnt stop laughing for the longest time. has anyone else ever had a laugh attack? It actually put me into a better mood when it was all over. (except+the belly pain from laughing so hard.)

Yes this kind of attacks have been experienced by me also in the past, but not since long as I've becoming more and more busy in my job and family problems.
However, I still crave for these attacks and they always remain in my memory. A smile comes to my face whenever I remember those incidents.

Isn't that fun when that happens, yes your belly gets to hurting from laughing so hard, but its worth it. I call it getting the giggles. One of the last times this happened to me was when my mom and I went to Virginia to see my sister and her family. We had all went to Virginia beach for the day, it was a long a tiring day. It took 4 hours to get there by car and of course 4 hours on the way back. We stopped on the way bck to get some dinner and have a potty break. By this time we are hungry, dazed and confused. I was following my mom to the ladies room, I didn't pay attention, she turned and was pushing the door open, I heard this lady say, mam thats the mens room, I just grabbed my moms arm and sort of stopped her. At the same time, I heard my nephews voice coming from the mens room saying "Oh Gawd", I got the giggles, tears were coming out my eyes, it was so funny, I am sitting here by myself laughing now. I wish you could have heard his voice the way he said it. I had this picture of him at the urinal with his grandma coming in. She said he had been washing his hands. I wish you many more times of just having a laugh attack.

I have once been called a 'laughing budha' because I laughed a lot and longer than any normal person do. You know I can laugh even at a slightest joke until my tears drop which find me in the next hour recuperating from this laughing gas that I have so much in me. Even here when I sometimes come across funny responses I will end up laughing in front of the screen like an insane human. I am scared this might truly land me in sever heart attack for laughing too much!

It happened twice in my life. One was back in college with my classmate then the other one was last year i think with my mom. Me an dmy classmate were just sitting on the bench waiting for our next class. Out of nowhere we were laughing slowly until it got worse! We were laughing for no apparent reason at all! We would look at eachother then laugh again. It was crazy. I don't know if it reached more than an hour because we were laughing all the to the canteen. We were eating sugar coated bananas and the people around think we're crazy because we're laughing while eating. It was really one hell of a laughing trip. I'm pretty sure my classmate can recall it well if i will tell him about it. I never laugh attack exists until i experienced it myself.

I had so many times before and it was really a relief from something deep inside. But I was almost alarmed when my 8-year old son Christian got a laugh attack right after he was stung by a bee. I was a bit scared when he didn't stop laughing for minutes upon remembering an episode of Courage the Cowardly dog! I was a bit scared because I thought it was a side effect of the bee sting.

that would be scary. I have had a couple of laugh attacks before but not in a long time.

Once in a while, something will strike me as funny for absolutely no reason and I will start laughing and cannot stop. It seems that whenever that happens, everything is hilarious. It makes me feel much better too, once the pain from laughing so hard subsides!!

Yep...it doesn't happen as often as I would like, but I really love it when it does. I love to laugh, and sometimes there aren't enough amusing things going on to make that happen. A nice spontaneous fit of the giggles can be just enough to drive the blues away.
