I mean, I've been seriously toasted in my day and being a singer in a rock band I've even been toasted on the job a time or two. But I do NOT drink and drive. This guy seriously should have pulled the truck over and just slept it off. Must have been some darn good vodka.. ROFLMAO!

Have you ever been caught drinking on the job?

I know, I couldn't believe it when I saw those painted lines! Some of them look like the guy driving the paint truck backed up and took two or three tries at the same spot.... off the road!
You're a smart woman Lakota! Me and hubby don't drink very much anymore. Those hard partying days are long gone. But if one of us decides we want a cocktail the other one drinks soda and becomes the designated driver. Otherwise it's strictly at home.

Hi Raydene! I guess I should have worded my post a little differently. It was supposed to be funny because of the video but there are too many people who have been affected by drunk drivers. Including me. I was laughing so hard at the video I wasn't thinking. I apologize. Kudos to you for checking people at partys though. It's the smart thing to do.

they must have marked the lines on the bridge near me.. they did something to it (im still not sure what but it had those cones and everything) then made it from 2 huge lanes to one lane that is 2/3rds if not bigger and the other lane 1/3rd the size.

Sounds like somebody forgot their measuring stick! The town right across the river from us made one of those news shows where they point out silly or stupid things done by towns or governments. The first exit off the bridge had the lanes marked one way and right turn, except the "N" in turn was backwards. It's been that way for several years! They just finally repainted it last summer and fixed it. I was so disappointed, it always gave me chuckle every time I saw it.

Hi Joe,
What an odiot this person drink driving, its not a clever thing to do, I don't mind them getting hurt but if they hit an innocent person, that is worst, the can even killed them. I can't drive and I don't often go out drinking, if I want to drink I do it indoors at home. These people should leave their car keys at home if they want to get drunk out. Love and hugs.

Hi Tamara! I wish I had worded the post differently now. It was supposed to be funny because of the lines painted on the road in the video. It seems few people are finding it as funny as I did. Must be my warped sense of humor!
XHugsX to you my friend!

Hi craftcatcher, I can't avoid it as I own a pub and it involves a lot of drinking and during the course of my nightly round to supervise the staff I often come round to tables where I know the customer and am forced to drink a glass or two just to please the customer, stupid it may sound but they tend to order more if I join them on the table even if it is only a short while. So yes, I drink on the job. LOL

I know how that goes zandi, I was a bartender years ago and customers do get insistant. There was one group that used to come in every Sunday. They were very insistant that I drink with them. It got so bad that I finally had to set up my own "private" bottle behind the bar that was very watered down. It was the only way I could get thru my shift AND keep them happy!
