is there a way to find out a myspace users ip address?

i was just wondering because there are so many people with dummy accounts on there harassing every one that if there is a way it could save some people from being tricked and harassed etc.. is there a way??

ive got a nick tracker on mine.. it records the ip address of people who go to yer profile and the time/date they were there. the thingy to get it is on my page.
search the email tessafirebrand @aol.com .. its down on the left hand side.. and feel free to add me if you wish

you havent had any problems with the program being spy ware or anything?? i have heard horror stories before on those kind of things

haha i ran into this problem when i started up with a different site to make money over a year ago.. myspace caught on that people would put banners on their site saying "join here! make money here!" so they made it to where any links that arent spelled out such as www.blah would all be disabled

if you know the ip addy of some one that has been harrassing you then you would be able to see if its the same ip addy of the person you think is his new account.. livejournal has already made it to where its an option because peopole had problems on there

Moon, perhaps I'm not understanding your question. I have a MySpace account and even have it under a "dummy" location. I've been found once by someone and I don't want to make that same mistake again. People are entiled to their privacy. However, I haven't been harassed as you've put it...then again, my profile is on "friend's only" mode and that's the way I like it.
