How can someone start a successful business on Ebay.

Howdy Fellow Mylotters!
As we all know working from home can be tough as we are all fighting for the same work at home jobs so I thought hey shall I try Ebay. But here is the problem. I have no stock and no resources for dropshipping. My dad may he rest in peace used to sell stuff on Ebay but he never got into dropshipping and I hear that dropshipping is a great way to sell things. Anybody have any suggesttions?

My wife & I sell on eBay
Through the years of selling on eBay, I find that it's good to specialize on certain stuff. Like my wife she sells quite a lot of used books & as for me, I'm into collectibles & also IT gadgets although we do sell some other stuff as well. Most importantly I would say is that find something that's of your interest & you're really familiar with - so you'll know how to write accurate descriptions & answer inquiries. Think of low cost or even better still - zero cost items, then you'll have a bigger profit margin.
