I have 4 pets and they are named Friday (cat), Cassie (dog), Rosie (cat)and Bert (bird). Nothing too unusual there. I came across a lady not long ago who named her cat "Benito Pussolini" and a friend who named her pet mouse "Mousy Tung." My neighbour bought a kitten for Christmas and called it "Plasma" because what he really wanted for Christmas was a plasma TV! Does anyone know of any funny or unusual pet names? If you do, please respond! Or if you don't share your pet's name anyway!

LOL The sad thing is I even know which one is which. Yes I do love animals even though it is hard work at times. Yesterday consisted of topping up bramble for the stick insects, cleaning the fishtank, cleaning the rabbits, walking the dog and feeding the cats, not much time for anything else LOL but my son helps bless, it helps teach him to love and responsibilty. Huggles. Ellie :D

I currently have two dogs and one cat. I always like to name my dogs a name that is easy to use when I am calling them. For instance some of my dog's names over the years have been Joe, Luke(best dog I ever had), Sam, Doc(named with respect after my grandpa), Ivey(named with repect after an elderly lady friend of mine),Rosey, etc. The last puppy I got was named Fatboy because he was a fat puppy. I don't think it really matters what you call a cat because they won't come when you call them anyway. My cat is simply called Momma cat and the only reason I keep her around is because she is a good mouser.

I am a cat lover and I have two. They both acknowledge their names and one of them actually responds with a funny sound when I call her name, she is actually very affectionate. Really! Cats are not like dogs but can be very loving to their owners too and mine come when I call them, but they are indoor only cats. Your pets sound great and I love the name Fatboy! Thanks for responding!
