We've heard of grand weddings, like king Rainier and princes Grace of Monaco, Prince of Wales Charles and Lady Diana and lots of other head of states and their sons and daughters. These weddings cost maybe more than a million dollars. The Philippine's presidential daughter, Luli on the other hand chose a very simple but solemn wedding.
It is said, especially in countries with no divoce like the Philippines, that it is a woman's dream to have one, like a royal wedding, since it can happen only once in woman's life, what do you think?

I am not religious so I just want to have a simple, basic, civil ceremony but I will probably have my sorority sister, who is an ordained minister do the ceremony and will probably have part of Corinthians I read, not for the religious meaning but for the meaning it has in real life. And because it has significance to my sorority as well. But I don't plan on having a lot of religious readings, just the basic "Do you?" "I do." "Do you?" "I do." "I now pronounce you husband and wife."
Followed by a HUGE party. Half of my budget is going to be spent on food for the party! I am not really sure what kinds of foods, probably a chicken dish and a beef dish, some grilled veggies, fruits.... But lots of food, a cash bar, DJ, dancing, friends, family, fun. Of course there will be the traditional things like dancing with our parents, dancing with each other, cutting the cake, toasting (at which point my best friend will probably make me cry).... But mostly a big party.
