I started a discussion in mylot 4 months regarding my kids' school admission. They are now 4 and half years old and according to the public school regulation in USA kids should be 5 years old to join KinderGarten program. But the school in which my girls are studying is a private school and they offered KG seat before they were 5 during this academic year sep 2008. I got their first assessment report yesterday and my girls got A grade in all the activites they have and the teacher has graded "Merit Grade level Achievement" in both of my twins assessment report. Really happy and just wanted to share this with you all...

I started school when I was 4 and ready to turn 5 in a few months. I ended up being held back because I did not have preschool but that was 45 years ago. Good going mom I bet you worked with your girls and spend time playing with them.
I taught my kids by reading to them, talking to them, reading the labels of canned stuff in the store. I had them find their way home from places so they could find their way home. I also had them memorize their address, including their phone number with area code.

Yep thats what I am doing right now. I am teaching them our address and phone number and since the school is very near our house, they know the way to come back home. Thanks for responding.

hey that is really nice. congrats. so goin to school ah. they r big now. thts so nice to hear. well all the best and do take care. i knw it is really tuf for u manage 2 of them at the same time. u r anyways doing gr8 both online and offline now lol. so do give tips to all. lol. hope they have a great future ahead.
