what affect does mylot have on your life?

mylot is a blessing to me. i live alone & it's soooooooo much company to me. it's interesting & i enjoy reading other people's discussions & ideas. hope u enjoy it as much as i do.

I get very much interest in myLot.Now I have so many friends here.I can exchange views with them.I can also learn many things.It's also a source of earnings . I spend many times in myLot.I feel uneasy if I could not sit before my comuter to participate to the discussions in myLot.You may say I am now addicted to myLot.

I have made some really nice friends, I have learned a lot about different cultures and different point of views. The few cents a month is not bad also.

I have been on mylot since april and it has been a good thing to me. I have been able to join other sites because of some discussions made at mylot. Cheers!!

Hi ya ammie07 Well let me see now. I was going to say that the money I have earnt from myLot isn't enough to make a huge difference to my daily life but actually it has. With my first ever payment I was able to buy a childrens's coat stand which means that when my kids come in from school their coats and books no longer get spread out around the house!! I too have made some great friends on myLot and sometimes myLot stops me from getting some of my chores done because I simply drag myself away but the chores are always there and will get done the next day instead!

myLot is very good to me, because you can say things to people that you wouldn say in a real conversation, you understand. So, you can express yourself liberaly and it is a very good thing to me.

Well, for me, myLot has been a Great thing to happen. I have learned a lot and met some wonderful people, and learned a lot as well. It is also nice to have a site to be able to come to each day and post back too to what is going on in your life, etc. and make a little extra $$ on the side as well.

It's helped me save money, reading the frugal section, and I've made friends with a couple of people here who I really enjoy interacting with. I've learned a lot about different countries and cultures, it's a very nice way to meet new people while making a little money.

Hello There! What's up? What a nice simple topic and questions... Well, I have not really thought of it but for Mylot has an impact in my life right now. First, it helps me develop my reasoning and compose my words well. Second, if I feel lonely or not in the mood, I would definitely browse topics about relationship and love to read opinions of others or find something that is similar to what I feel then would respond to it. More importantly, I learn from the opinion of others... specially, I could use their advice from the people who really is sincere and direct in giving you their best advice... it is a guide for me too... I don't often see my best friends since we are all working and busy too... it is like i have friends here in mylot... I mean, I don't have to chat with you guys... or something... I just have to read what you wrote here or advices.... and I feel that if you are here right now, we will really get along fine... You know, last week is not an easy week for me, but whenever I go to this site and read some forum topics (those who are interesting), it makes my heart light. Somehow, I am okay. Thanks Guys! I think I have responded to a similar discussion before. I remembered saying that myLot leads me to vent out my opinions and learn from other people's opinions as well. I have learned to respect others' ideas as well as develop my own critical thinking to justify what I stand and how i stand in a given topic. But more that anything else, I have come into realization that myLot actually helped me to maintain my sanity amidst this insane world. Pressures from work, daily anxieties and personal problems all add to a day full of stress. And just reading the discussion here make me unnerve all the tensions. All the more reason fro me to respond and start a discussion whenever i feel like it... to remind me that in the other side of the world, there are also people who might also feel pressured...but still has the hang of joining such intelligent discussions.

It is a part of my online life now. I don't see any real impact of it in my real life. All the things remain the same but I spend more time on mylot in the early morning. Earlier I used to sleep till 8 am but now I woke up at 5AM.

Mylot gives me something to do when I'm bored as well as another way to earn money other then my meager part time job that I have. I take all of my earnings that I get from mylot and I put it into my bank account from paypal. It will hopefully eventually help me save up enough money to one day be able to own my own house with a couple of my friends.

I certainly don't make a lot of money on it. But I love being part of discussions. I find it very addictive and hard to log off. It's just so fascinating to be able to take part in all these discussions. I've tried chatting and found it irritating and not at all to my taste. That's too much like talking, and I don't like doing that. I find myself getting up earlier and earlier just to see what new discussions are going on.

I love it hear at my lot, I too am new on here but everyone has been so kind to me. Now it;s addicting, I have more in common with people here than in real life. I think it's great that anyone can discuss anything, without fearing that they are going to be judged. It is a good place to keep up with current news and topics which is always a plus. Hi ammie! Welcome to mylot! It is a very warm and friendly place isn't it! I have been here for 7 months now and hardly missed a day since the day that I got here! I have made such wonderful friendships that I truly can say that I treasure. I look forward to being with my friends here every day. We look out for each other and really care if one of us is missing for a few days. I had never been on a site like this before so I didn't know what to expect. I am very happy that I found mylot and look forward to coming here every day!

i am not surprised to here that you are attached. almost all the new members get attached when they start posting on mylot. i know the first week or so i was on mylot i was on here like all the time. now i get on when i get the chance. i love to meet people from all over the world here and you can talk about anything, plus you make money so thats awesome!
