Do You Have A Will Made Out For When You Pass Away?

I feel this is very important so that the people you leave behind don't have to hassle in court. And also the courts take a good portion of what you have without a will. The will needs to be very specific. So there is no misunderstandings. Loved ones have enough to deal with without the hassle of court keeping a lot of what is there's. And it takes a long time for the court to award who gets what without a will. Do you think is necessary or not. I do think it is necessary.

Hi angelgirl,
It is good that you have a will. To make sure the things you have go to who you wish them to go to. I hear people say they don't need a will but if you want your things given to who you want them to a will is necessary. Thanks for your response dear friend. XXOO

When you publish your books let me know. I would be interested in reading them. What kind of books do you plan on writing. Yes, getting a book is a way of immortalizing oneself. I wish you good luck on that endeaver.

Fortunately I don't have much to leave when I pass on. But, I do need to leave a will so my children will know exactly what I wish them to have. This will end any bickering over what little items I do have.
My ex-husband didn't have a will. This really startled me because he was ill for many years and knew that the illness would take him sooner or later. Perhaps he thought if he denied the fact that it would go away. It didn't. This left the kids in a state of panic. His sister, brother and mother were all assuming things that weren't to be. The kids are now left to deal with his estate.

I think that you are right. I think that people have enough to deal with when you pass away, but for them to have to deal with you not having a will, can make things a lot worse. I went on a trip to Hawaii and before my husband and I got on a plane we decided to make a will. We have two children so we wanted to make certain that if anything were to happen to us, they would be taken care of. I still have it and plan on updating it. You can never be too careful and I would rather be safe than sorry.

Unless I die first, the natural proceedings will be that my parents will die first before me, and when they do I will be alone, I won't have any dependents, no one to leave my worldly goods and money to when I have gone, so a will for me is not important, I have no brothers or sisters and no immediate relatives that I am close to, I may consider leaving my estate to the animal rescue centre that we get our animals from but other than that I have no interest in doing a will and it's of no importance to me, why waste money on a will, when I'm gone there won't be anyone to worry about me.

yes I have a will I have had it for years, according to our law my heirs get whatever I have, but they are also responsible for taxes, but since I have nothing there are no taxes to pay.

It's one of those things that I say...I'm going to do that one of these days...but for the most part my things are already in order....with my three sharing everything equally. I have it written down what each are supposed to get of my personal things...in fact I have begun to give things to my kids already as I have too much stuff....things they want or things I want them to have...

I do not have a will as of right now, but that is one very important thing on my "To-DO" list for this year. This is a very important thing to have, especially for someone who is an older person, or someone with a lot of valuable possessions, of which I am neither right now...LOL
