Hello rrobinv! I remember when I was young, I used to help her with all the housework except for cooking. She trained me early like washing my own clothes, washing the dishes and cleaning our house and she told me that I will be doing it when I get married.

Just like you, I also help my mother in cleaning our house. Even me and my siblings are little, she taught us how to help in house hold chores by doing simple things like scrubbing the floor, washing the dishes or picking up dried leaves at backyard. I can still remember how fast I try to finish my duties just because I want to play with other children or want to watch a television. When I was little, I got so irritated whenever my mother will ask me to do certain things in house. . It is because I am so excited to play or watch tv and spending another long hour working in the house will spoiled my time playing. However, as I start to grow, I realized there is nothing to be irritated of. Instead of being irritated, I must feel proud. It is because, ever since a child, our mother taught us our responsibilities. And its results is good because we grew up as responsible children to our parents. Our mother and father need not to scold us just to tell us the things to do in house. Our mother already opened our eyes that we have duties in cleaning the house and from that, we learned how to do task without asking for those. I can see also other people admire us during those times because even though we are still little kids, we are not lazy in helping in the house.
In the future, I can say that, I will also do what my mom did when we are little kids. Not that I am grown up, I can see the benefits it had brought on me. I want to continue those attitudes because I believe that children must know their responsibilities even they are still kids. So that, when they grow up, they will not be a burden or headaches to their parents.

When I first started washing dishes, I had to stand in a chair to be able to reach into the sink. I was too short to reach it without standing in the chair. As I got older, I started helping with the laundry as well. As I got older, though, I became more of an outdoor person, so I was more likely to be found outside cutting the grass or raking leaves and stuff...these days, I am married, so I have to do a little of it all...LOL

Yes, I help my mom in doing the household chores. I'm very thankful to my mom, for training me how to do the chores the right way. According to my mom, eventhough we have a house help, we still have to learn the housework. And right now, my mom is training us Home Management. Mom, you're the best!

i help my mother do housework, too.
when i was a kid,i often help her wash dishes after meal, clean the room, and by doing this, she would give me some pocket money.

I do a lot of houseworks when i was little since my brothers and sisters were away to stury in another place. For a child like me who like to play, its not that fun to help in the household chores and i was often pissed off. I even run away sometimes just to avoid it and i go to my friends house and play with her. When i think about that things now, i can't help but smile.
