Yeah, this happens to me a lot..specially when I haven't seen that person for a while. So what I do is I watch the person first, try to make sure if that really is him/her. Then sort of like approach the person then see if he/she will react. If that person reacts, then yeah...he's/she's that person I was thinking! lol

I know I hate when it happens though because if it's not someone I know I turn out looking like a big dummy. lol. But with chicks you can flip the whole situation and say you remind me of someone. lol Maybe she will take it as a compliment and talk to me...

Unfortunately I am not nearly so observant when I'm out and about. I have had friends point out a local celebrity every once in a while, but I wouldn't want to intrude on thier personal space.
I do have a friend that even when we are out of town together seems to always run into someone she knew from high school, or college, or from her home town in the Phillipines. It always blows my mind.

Yeah, I haven't seen any celebrities while I was out but I have seen some people that look like celebrities and it has made me do a double take. lol. For some reason I always seem to run into people too that's why I like going into town.

I sometimes find myself in that situation and I avoid staring because it is rude. I slyly look without seeming to look intently and determine if indeed it is someone that I know. Sometimes it just doesn't matter at all. Cheers!!

I dont stare either cause it is rude and you feel awkward when someone is staring or if you are staring and someone catches you staring. Like you said sometimes it doesnt matter.. sometimes I'll just go up to them cause I know that it is him/her and just say whats up. You got nothing to lose.
